Bruce Dickey
President and CEO
Bruce brings an extensive and thorough array of Space Systems, Information Technology, Surface Ship Repair and Weapons System acquisition experience and leadership. Having worked with both the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community throughout his career in roles ranging from Systems Engineer to major Program Manager he brings a variety of expertise vital to the successful accomplishment of organization goals and objectives. Combined with his operational background tested in numerous conflicts around the globe, Bruce’s abilities allow him to seamlessly articulates solutions and achieve customer objectives in a growing and complex environment. Bruce leverages this experience to identify opportunities for growth, develop solutions, and expand SBG’s position within the federal markets.
Expertise
As a Navy Surface Warfare and Engineering Duty Officer; Bruce served in multiple afloat, shore and staff organizations. He possesses surface ship combat and weapon system, space management, surface ship repair, federal government policy and space systems architecture expertise. Following a 28-year career and retiring at the rank of Captain (0-6), his work included leadership positions at CSRA and General Dynamics IT where he led multiple business capture opportunities and high-performing teams in pursuing business opportunities focused on achieving successful customer mission outcomes.
Credentials
Bruce is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He holds a Master’s degree in Space Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. He is a DAWIA Level III (PM and Systems Engineering) and ITIL qualified.
