SBG Wins PMW 146 Contract for Operations and Maintenance of Navy Space Systems Command Communications Systems

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – SBG Technology Solutions, one of the fastest growing and leading engineering and information technology service providers in the United States, recently won a multi-year contract with the Navy Program Executive Office Space Systems (PEO SS) to provide support services that include operational maintenance, logistics, training, development, system testing and evaluation, production support and integration of Navy, Joint Military, Foreign Military and Commercial communications systems, encrypted secure networks, and communication links under the responsibility of PMW 146.

PEO SS is responsible for influencing the design, acquisition, and operation of national security space programs in order to provide a full on-orbit capabilities in support of open-ocean, littoral, and naval land operations. SBG will support the operational functionality, maintenance and management of these systems.

SBG Technology Solutions Awarded Contract to Support TSA Higher Education Program

SBG Technology Solutions and AppleTree Partner to Design Innovative Teaching Technology

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – April 24, 2014 – SBG Technology Solutions, one of the fastest growing and leading engineering and information technology service providers in the United States, and AppleTree, a Washington, D.C.-based education research nonprofit and network of schools, announced a technology partnership to drive innovation in classroom technology. SBG partnered with AppleTree on a two-month systems architecture analysis, to design a new system combining web and mobile application technologies in support of AppleTree’s ground breaking Every Child Ready early childhood learning program.

In cooperation with AppleTree, SBG designed a new system integrating AppleTree’s existing applications and processes into a comprehensive learning management system. The newly designed system will allow AppleTree to automate its student and teacher assessment process, allowing faster input and more sophisticated reporting, better organization of its curriculum materials, and enhancement of its professional development. The system will incorporate the Experience API, the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s next generation standards for training technology, to increase AppleTree’s ability to track and measure student’s and teacher’s learning experiences across a variety of different platforms and technologies.

SBG Technology Solutions Supports Successful Launch of Second Navy MUOS Satellite

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – July 29, 2012 – SBG Technology Solutions, one of the fastest growing and leading engineering service providers in the United States, is proud to congratulate the U.S. Navy on the successful launch of the second MUOS (Mobile User Objective System) Satellite on July 19, 2013 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. MUOS is a next-generation tactical satellite-based communications system that improves communications for U.S. forces worldwide. MUOS gives military users expanded communications capability, including simultaneous voice, video and data usage – similar to civilian smart phones of today.

SBG provides space systems engineering and technical support to all Program Executive Office (PEO) Space Systems programs, including MUOS. SBG supported the development and review of program technical and acquisition documentation guiding systems engineering technical reviews.

SBG Technology Solutions Awarded Veterans Affairs Enterprise Risk Registry Contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – February 11, 2013 – SBG Technology Solutions Inc., one of the fastest growing and leading information technology service providers in the United States, was recently awarded a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contract to develop a web based enterprise risk registry system to aid the VA in the identification and mitigation of risk.

The system will be designed, developed and implemented by SBG and support the risk management needs of the Veterans Health Administration. The application will integrate all risks identified by project teams across the enterprise and allow the recording, registry, monitoring, reporting, evaluating and modeling of risks for the VA.

With this new contract, SBG builds upon its long-standing partnership with the VA. Other contracts in support of Veterans Affairs include designing a study on the role nutrition plays in the wellness of Veterans, providing technical and engineering support for the integration of VA mobile applications and providing software evaluation services.

Stafford, Virginia – August 20, 2011 – SBG Technology Solutions, Inc., a rapidly growing SBA certified 8(a) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business providing a broad range of administrative, IT, engineering, and educational support program solutions, was recently awarded the GSA 8(a) STARS II contract.

GSA 8(a) STARS II is a is a ten year, $10 billion Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) designed for the procurement of Information Technology (IT) equipment and services. Thousands of IT companies submitted proposals and after virtually two years of evaluations and pricing adjustments, the GSA selected 599 firms that met stringent criteria including competitive pricing, technical proficiency, and industry credentials.

This proposed IDIQ acquisition will provide support for the full life cycle of non-personal personnel services to Defense personnel communities, including defense civilian employees, military members (Active, Guard and Reserve), military families, veterans, and retirees.. Support to the Army’s HR communities policies, programs, and systems will focus on the following functional areas: business planning and research and evaluations.

The Contractor shall provide Studies and Analysis support services related to human resource services and activities. The breadth of support includes Army Human Resource (HR) activities and could encompass more of Department of Defense HR activities during the life of the contract.
