GSA Awards 8(a) Stars II Contract to SBG Technology Solutions, Inc.

Stafford, Virginia – August 20, 2011 – SBG Technology Solutions, Inc., a rapidly growing SBA certified 8(a) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business providing a broad range of administrative, IT, engineering, and educational support program solutions, was recently awarded the GSA 8(a) STARS II contract.

GSA 8(a) STARS II is a is a ten year, $10 billion Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) designed for the procurement of Information Technology (IT) equipment and services. Thousands of IT companies submitted proposals and after virtually two years of evaluations and pricing adjustments, the GSA selected 599 firms that met stringent criteria including competitive pricing, technical proficiency, and industry credentials.

The 8a STARS II GWAC is in addition to multiple government vehicles already awarded to SBG, including but not limited to VETS GWAC, GSA MOBIS, and multiple Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contracts with the US Army, the Army National Guard, the Internal Revenue Service, and others.

Utilization of this contract vehicle will assist federal agencies in meeting directives around Strategy, Technology, Transparency, and Operations in addition to full lifecycle program and project management solutions that protect each agency’s most valuable assets – people, programs, and performance. “SBG is pleased to be an awardee of the 8(a) STARS II GWAC.
