Ross brings with him to SBG a distinguished career and diverse background. He started his career as a Project Engineer at the United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM), where he was an Acquisition Professional and one of the founders of the Rapid Response (R2) acquisition program. Thereafter, Ross worked as an attorney for some of New Jersey’s most prestigious law firms. In 2009, he returned to the federal contracting industry, where he has since supported both large and small businesses that have experienced significant success on the T4 and T4NG vehicles. Some of the projects Ross has supported include VistA Evolution 1.0; Enterprise Shared Services PMO; Financial Service Center Development; Agile Transformation; VistA Surgery; and VistA Security Remediation.

President and CEO of SBG Technology Solutions, Carlos Del Toro, has recently been elected President of the White House Fellows Foundation and Association (www.whff.org). The White House Fellows Foundation and Association is instrumental in ensuring the ongoing success of the White House Fellows program and provides support to advance a legacy of leadership and contributions to the public good.
Founded in 1964 by Lyndon B. Johnson, the White House Fellows program is one of America’s most prestigious programs for leadership and public service. White House Fellowships offer exceptional young men and women first-hand experience working at the highest levels of the federal government.
Selected individuals typically spend a year working as a full-time, paid Fellow to senior White House Staff, Cabinet Secretaries and other top-ranking government officials. Fellows also participate in an education program consisting of roundtable discussions with renowned leaders from the private and public sectors, and trips to study U.S. policy in action both domestically and internationally. Department of Veterans Affairs EHRM
The EHRM initiative will transform and revolutionize VA’s electronic health record (EHR) system by adopting and integrating the Cerner commercial software system throughout the Department. In June 2017, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs announced that by embracing the Cerner solution, VA would leverage the experience and expertise of the Department of Defense, which is already deploying the Cerner EHR system. In announcing that decision, the Secretary highlighted VA’s legacy of “leading innovation in information technology systems.”
The VA EHRM acquisition and implementation effort will include software licensing, product integration, configuration management, testing, deployment planning, hosting, organizational change management, training, sustainment and a myriad of other efforts necessary to support an enterprise-wide business transformation. SBG’s core contributions to the EHRM Program will focus on providing Program Management Office support, including planning and implementing the overall EHRM solution.
