Lauren Morgan joins SBG Technology Solutions as Vice President of Strategy
SBG Technology Solutions, an industry leader and one of the fastest growing engineering and information technology service providers in the country, announced that Lauren A. Morgan will lead SBG’s Growth and Strategy efforts. Lauren will support SBG’s Health, Defense, and Civil clientele and work to expand SBG’s current portfolio and capabilities. Lauren will focus specifically on enhancing SBG’s value to Federal customers and strategic prime contract vehicles, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) T4NG contract; the U.S. Navy SeaPort-E contract, and GSA’s 8(a) STARS II and VETS 2 GWACs.
Lauren brings a breadth of experience leading small and large organizations as well as a diverse customer background. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Virginia Tech, Lauren began her career as a System Analyst contractor with the D.C. Department of Transportation (DDOT) where she worked with the DDOT to integrate the Red-Light Traffic Control Signal Monitoring Systems. Lauren’s talents led to a rapid career trajectory in capture and business development in which she has led both small and large businesses in their success at both the State and Federal agency level.

Ross brings with him to SBG a distinguished career and diverse background. He started his career as a Project Engineer at the United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM), where he was an Acquisition Professional and one of the founders of the Rapid Response (R2) acquisition program. Thereafter, Ross worked as an attorney for some of New Jersey’s most prestigious law firms. In 2009, he returned to the federal contracting industry, where he has since supported both large and small businesses that have experienced significant success on the T4 and T4NG vehicles. Some of the projects Ross has supported include VistA Evolution 1.0; Enterprise Shared Services PMO; Financial Service Center Development; Agile Transformation; VistA Surgery; and VistA Security Remediation.

President and CEO of SBG Technology Solutions, Carlos Del Toro, has recently been elected President of the White House Fellows Foundation and Association (www.whff.org). The White House Fellows Foundation and Association is instrumental in ensuring the ongoing success of the White House Fellows program and provides support to advance a legacy of leadership and contributions to the public good.
Founded in 1964 by Lyndon B. Johnson, the White House Fellows program is one of America’s most prestigious programs for leadership and public service. White House Fellowships offer exceptional young men and women first-hand experience working at the highest levels of the federal government.
Selected individuals typically spend a year working as a full-time, paid Fellow to senior White House Staff, Cabinet Secretaries and other top-ranking government officials. Fellows also participate in an education program consisting of roundtable discussions with renowned leaders from the private and public sectors, and trips to study U.S. policy in action both domestically and internationally. Fellowships are awarded on a strictly non-partisan basis.
As a White House Fellow from 1998-1999, Carlos Del Toro served as a Special Assistant to the Director and Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget. On the appointment to lead the White House Fellows Foundation and Association, Carlos Del Toro said, “I am deeply humbled and honored to be elected as President and I am passionate about further strengthening the bonds that make the White House Fellowship the premier leadership program in the nation.”
In his role as President, Carlos Del Toro will serve on the President’s Commission on White House Fellows. SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. (SBG) is proud to team as a major subcontractor to Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) on the recently-awarded Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) contract.
Department of Veterans Affairs EHRM
The EHRM initiative will transform and revolutionize VA’s electronic health record (EHR) system by adopting and integrating the Cerner commercial software system throughout the Department. In June 2017, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs announced that by embracing the Cerner solution, VA would leverage the experience and expertise of the Department of Defense, which is already deploying the Cerner EHR system. In announcing that decision, the Secretary highlighted VA’s legacy of “leading innovation in information technology systems.”
The VA EHRM acquisition and implementation effort will include software licensing, product integration, configuration management, testing, deployment planning, hosting, organizational change management, training, sustainment and a myriad of other efforts necessary to support an enterprise-wide business transformation. SBG’s core contributions to the EHRM Program will focus on providing Program Management Office support, including planning and implementing the overall EHRM solution.

SBG Technology Solutions, an industry leader in Space Systems Engineering & Operations, is excited to announce the award of the multi-million dollar PEO Space Systems and PMW 146 (Navy Communications Satellite Program Office) Systems Engineering Services Support contract.
