is recognized with FedHealthIT Award

Alexandria, Va., July 3rd, 2018- SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. (SBG) is proud to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Proof of Concept Program, which was recently honored as one of 26 recipients of the 4th annual FedHealthIT Award.

The SUD Treatment Proof of Concept, under the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Center for Compassionate Care Innovation, will provide increased access to care for up to 1,000 Veterans diagnosed with alcohol and opiate addiction, who would otherwise have limited care options. The Program integrates a range of clinical treatment options with a digital application to assist in recovery, predictive analytics, ongoing support, and relapse prevention.

SBG is pleased to partner with Syms Strategic Group, LLC. (SSG), the prime, as well as fellow sub-contractors Amida Technology Solutions, Inc. and MedicaSoft. Our comprehensive goal is to build a system-wide approach that improves the lives of Veterans in need of SUD treatment. “SBG is honored to support this critical initiative aimed at providing care through a cutting-edge solution. We are passionate about the success of this program and our partnership with the VA to directly address the growing wave of the SUD epidemic among our Veteran population.” said Carlos Del Toro, President and CEO of SBG.
